HERITAGE OPEN DAYS – EVERYDAY HISTORIES & SMALL CURIOSITIES

HERITAGE OPEN DAYS – EVERYDAY HISTORIES & SMALL CURIOSITIES

Join us at St Wilfrid’s Church on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, 12 noon–4pm, as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days.

This year’s theme explores the everyday histories of working lives, with the chance to discover more about the people and stories that have shaped our village.

Explore the churchyard and find out more about the community archaeology dig taking place around the village, with preliminary findings hopefully on display.

Step inside St Wilfrid’s to discover some of its small curiosities, including fascinating features dating back to Anglo-Saxon times.

And of course, there’ll be delicious cream teas available throughout the weekend!

Free entry- no booking required

Come along, explore, discover and enjoy a taste of our village’s fascinating heritage. We’d love to see you there!
